This knife is the result of classic craftsmanship, emphasizing the natural expression of the materials and the manual work involved. The handle is made from stabilized poplar burl and walrus ivory – two natural materials that together create a harmonious balance of texture, color variation, and weight. A simple tin inlay marks the transition and adds a subtle yet refined detail.

The blade is crafted from damascus steel from Balbach, forged with the characteristic Herringbone pattern. The striking pattern in the steel reflects meticulous smithing and gives the blade a lively, expressive character. The steel is not stainless and therefore requires regular care, but it rewards the user with a strong edge, a personal patina, and long-lasting performance.

The sheath is made from dyed, hardened leather and decorated with a carved and embossed pattern in Nordic Viking style. It is finished with a hanging button in stabilized poplar burl, visually connecting to the handle and completing a cohesive aesthetic.

The handle measures 125 mm, and the blade is 100 mm long – a balanced size that feels comfortable in the hand and is suitable both for functional use and as a showcase of traditional Scandinavian knife-making.
