Handmade knife with a Nordic touch – crafted from natural materials and damascus steel, full of depth and character.

Handle:
The handle is constructed from stabilized poplar burl and stabilized mammoth ivory – a prehistoric material with an organic and silky surface. The two natural materials are joined by matte tin inlays, adding a calm contrast and subtle sheen. Together, they create a harmonious whole, where texture, color, and history blend seamlessly.

Blade:
The blade is ground from carbon damascus – Balbach DSC® Carbon – a layered and lively steel with excellent cutting performance and character. Each pattern in the steel is unique and reflects the craftsman’s touch in the forging process. The carbon steel requires light maintenance but rewards the user with long-lasting sharpness and a beautiful patina over time.

Sheath:
The knife comes with a dyed, hardened leather sheath, decorated with a carved and embossed pattern inspired by Nordic Viking style. The historic ornamentation gives the sheath a characterful and traditional expression. The sheath’s closure features a button of stabilized mammoth ivory, matching the handle and completing the design.

Dimensions:
Handle length: approx. 120 mm
Blade length: approx. 90 mm

A knife for those who appreciate genuine materials, solid craftsmanship, and a design that looks both to the past and toward something uniquely personal.
