Handmade Knife with Noble Materials and Classic Expression

A meticulously crafted piece of Scandinavian knife craftsmanship, combining noble materials with timeless design.

Handle:
The handle is composed of several refined materials: stabilized poplar burl with a lively grain, deep black ebony, and a piece of stabilized mammoth ivory – a fossil material with up to 40,000 years of history. The transitions between the materials are highlighted with matte bronze inlays, providing a subtle, warm glow and elegantly uniting the natural elements.

Blade:
The blade is ground from carbon damascus – Balbach DSC® Carbon – a highly regarded damascus steel with distinct layering and great strength. The carbon steel produces a sharp, lively blade with character, suitable for both practical use and visual appreciation. The blade requires minimal maintenance and develops a beautiful patina over time.

Sheath:
The accompanying sheath is made of dyed, hardened leather, decorated with a carved and embossed acanthus pattern – a classic, decorative motif rooted in traditional craftsmanship. The sheath closes with a button of mammoth ivory, completing the natural and harmonious overall impression.

Dimensions:
Handle length: approx. 120 mm
Blade length: approx. 97 mm

A knife for those who appreciate details, genuine materials, and craftsmanship grounded in calm, precision, and respect for tradition.
