Handle:
The handle is composed of dark, dense ebony and stabilized mammoth ivory – a prehistoric material with a unique color variation and natural texture. The two materials are joined with conically filed tin inlays, elegantly highlighting the transition and emphasizing the precision of the craftsmanship. The knife is finished with an end plate in damascus steel, which both protects and completes the aesthetic with a subtle surface pattern.

Blade:
The blade is crafted from carbon damascus – Balbach DSC® Carbon – known for its exceptional cutting ability, durability, and decorative layered pattern. The ground blade has a lively structure, making the knife both beautiful and functional. While the carbon steel requires some maintenance, it rewards the owner with sharpness and character.

Sheath:
The knife comes in a dyed, hardened leather sheath, decorated with a carved and embossed acanthus pattern. This classic plant motif adds depth and tradition to the sheath’s appearance. The closure features a button made from mammoth ivory, linking the handle and sheath while giving the knife a natural and authentic finishing touch.
