The handle is composed of three carefully selected materials: deep black ebony, stabilized mammoth ivory, and white mammoth ivory. Together, they create a calm yet striking contrast between dark and light tones. A tin inlay forms an elegant transition between the materials, while a silver end plate provides a refined finishing touch. The result is a balanced and timeless look where each material plays its role. The handle measures 120 mm in length and sits firmly and comfortably in the hand.
The blade is ground from Balbach damascus steel, produced by a renowned German forge with long-standing traditions in advanced steel craftsmanship. Damascus steel is created by folding and forging multiple layers together, producing a living, distinctive pattern in the surface. Each blade carries its own unique structure, making the knife a one-of-a-kind piece of craftsmanship. The blade measures 95 mm in length and offers excellent sharpness and wear resistance.
The knife is delivered with a sheath made from hardened leather, shaped and decorated with a carved and tooled dragon motif in Viking style. The depth and precision of the decoration emphasize a traditional approach and give the sheath its own character. A suspension button in white mammoth ivory is fitted to match the light details of the handle, adding a discreet touch of refinement. The combination of materials, steelwork, and leather craftsmanship makes this knife a complete and distinctive piece of traditional workmanship.
